Intermat Flexible Packaging was established in 1989 in Istanbul to meet the unique and demanding packaging needs of yeast producers. As a result of successful growth strategies, Intermat has become a leading company in Europe for specialty flexible packaging in less than 20 years. Thanks to its direct and indirect exports, Intermat’s products meet different expectations and are used safely in more than 100 countries under different climate conditions in all over the world.
In order to support this rapid growth, Intermat Flexible Packaging moved into a new production facility in 2002, established on an area of 35,000 square meters, specially designed for flexible packaging production. Having adopted the principle of renewing itself with new technologies and systems every year, Intermat continued to specialize in many areas in light of science through partnerships with leading universities.
In 2012, Intermat was merged with the Pak Group, one of the oldest and most well-established communities in Turkey, and continues its activities under the Packaging Group .
